Founded by a tech illusionist, Magency’s technology is inspired by magic. Their unordinary approach transforms attendees from spectators to actors, creating unforgettable moments.

In four years, Magency has become a global leader in the digital events and training industry, hosting over 500 events on five continents, in 29 different countries with 20 different languages. Magency is a trusted partner of Procter & Gamble, Nissan, Airbus, LVMH, Chevrolet, and more.

What does it do?

Magency takes the best of gamification, audience interaction and collaborative learning, and puts all of them into one, easy-to-use, customized application existing on each attendee’s mobile device. Their solutions are made for corporate seminars, conferences, collaborative workshops and classroom training, to provide effective networking, brainstorming sessions, interactive presentations, and assessments for attendees.

Magency also provides digital entertainment with modern performances and interactive installations for high-stake events and public events like the French Open, Rolland Garros.

Who’s behind it?

Vincent Bruneau- a magician for 15 years and a tech-illusionist for the last ten.

How did it get here?

Vincent’s vision as a magician was to create engagement and emotions for events. Working with many Fortune 500 companies for product launches, his clients enjoyed hismagic and the way he engaged with technology, but they wanted to have the same experience with mobile applications. He was always interested in tech, but never had a professional background in it. People never thought he’d be able to open a company that mixed tech and magic. He recently spoke about achieving the “impossible” at TEDx with the magician’s secret–and with that he was able to open the first company to bring magic to corporate events and training with his vision in still in mind: creating engagement and emotions.

What does it look like?

Why it’s our ETOTW…

Every event can do with a little magic at times. At Gallus we are big on audience participation and engagement. Our Head Honcho recently attended a Tedx event in Edinburgh with a huge focus on engagement & interesting content. An app like Magency Digital can change a training session with your audience becoming participants or ‘actors’- way better than textbook/paper-based learning. It also keeps the focus on the most important thing: the content. That’s our kind of magic!
