Gallus Events Consultants have over fifty years experience in running successful events

Event Consultancy Case Studies

Over the last few years we have been lucky enough to spend time with some great organisations helping them with their events. Here are a couple of the organisations and a bit of detail about what our event consultancy covered.

The Institute of Engineering and Technology

The Institute of Engineering and Technology had completed a successful restructuring of their events business over a period of years by successfully redressing a decline in income. William was invited to do a strategic event analysis of the IET’s events to see how they could make the department more commercial.

Over five days William looked at the total offering to members, younger members and non members. He also looked at benchmarking prices, marketing and their on-line event strategy.

The European Wind Energy Association

The European Wind Energy Association is a very strong policy-led association which represents the benefit of increased use of wind energy. EWEA run two very large conferences and exhibitions in Europe. Despite the success of these events EWEA wanted to benchmark that success as they looked to future proof their events.

Over two days Gallus Events, calling upon our long list of contacts, were able to benchmark (including financial and resource details) their events against similar exhibitions run by two European Federations. Gallus Events also suggested which new events could be added in the future as well as recommending ways in which the value proposition could be enhanced.
