Leipzig is a wonderful city. It has so much history and culture and of course the city has an exceptionally impressive music heritage. But what about organising events in Leipzig?

I spent 48 hours in the city looking at as many venues and hotels as possible, as well as managing to fit in a few incentive style trips. It would have been easy to spend a lot more time in the city. We know that we missed so much!

They say the city was build by merchants and you can see their wealth spread across the city in the many magnificent buildings. However, it was actually EventProfs that built the city. Merchants from across Europe would come to the trade shows, organised by our historical trailblazers, to show their wears. So, without merchants or event organisers, the city would not be what it is!

All event planners should trace the roots of their profession back to Leipzig. You won’t be disappointed. Here’s 10 things that we wanted to highlight about this great city.
